Emmaus (The road to Emmaus)

After Jesus' resurrection, two disciples traveled to Emmaus, saddened by His crucifixion. Jesus joined them, but they did not recognize Him. As He explained the Scriptures and later broke bread with them, their eyes were opened, and they realized He was the risen Christ. Filled with joy, they returned to Jerusalem to share the good news with the other disciples.
